# ついでなので、機械翻訳の現状を比較

前エントリで私は、「ほら見ろ、機械翻訳なんてダメじゃん。人間にやらせなさい」と言ったのではありません。機械翻訳はこれからもっと発展するでしょうし、それが有用な場面も増えてくるはずです。

また、テレビ東京さんが使ったシステム自体をけなしているわけでもありません。

問題はシステムの使い方であり、このような不確実な情報を掲載している、その姿勢です。

そこで、参考までに、はたして現状の機械翻訳の実力はどうなっているのか、代表的な翻訳エンジン（オンラインで使えるもの）を試してみることにしました。

比較に使う原文は、今回の2つのサイトで使われていた元の日本語です。
